Ohio Healthy Programs (OHP)
Ohio Healthy Programs (OHP) provides training, technical assistance, and designation to early care and education (ECE) professionals to create healthy eating and activity environments in ECE settings. OHP is a five-part voluntary designation program that is available for all ECE programs across the state, including center-based and family child care settings.
Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime (PMP)
PMP curriculum offers providers developmentally appropriate guidelines on nutrition, healthy activity, and sleep to share with families within the context of building resilient family-child interactions that support healthy habits.
ECOPP partners with the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (OAAP), to deliver PMP physician training that grants Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part-IV professional development credit. Visit OAAP’s Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime (PMP) site for more information and to sign up for the PMP Resource Toolkit.
PMP training and resources are also available for healthcare providers such as Home Visitors, Community Health Workers, and WIC Professionals. Click here (hyperlink to ODH PMP training) for a listing of available resources.
Electronic Bulletin Board
