Early Childhood Health Program

The Early Childhood Health Program aims to promote safe and healthy environments where young children live and learn. It includes the Early Childhood Obesity Prevention Program and the Health and Safety Program.

Ohio Healthy Programs (OHP) is a healthy eating, physical activity, and development training for early childhood health professionals that promotes policy, systems, and environmental changes in the early care and education setting.

Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime

Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime (PMP) is a professional development initiative for a variety of health care providers to optimize obesity risk assessment, prevention counseling, and family support for children 0-5 years of age and their families.

The Early Childhood Health Program includes the Early Childhood Obesity Prevention Program (ECOPP) and Health and Safety Trainings.

The Early Childhood Health Program's electronic bulletin board provides timely one-way communication to early childhood professionals across the state. The email messages include health-related updates, information, training opportunities and other items relevant to early childhood health.
